FINANCIAL AID

This can be done through your financial aid portal. The Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships must first receive the results of your FAFSA form in order to process your federal financial aid. Typically, freshmen awards begin early March.

Many AU scholarships and grant have minimum GPA requirements. Additionally, there are other variables that impact financial aid. Examples include SAI (determined by the FAFSA), state residency, satisfactory academic progress, and the FAFSA completion date.

AU maintains students records and assures their confidentiality, consistent with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). These records include your student account and financial aid. Student records are confidential and will be released to persons outside AU only upon your request. You can fill out the request in your Workday portal. For more information, please visit here.Ìý

If you do not qualify for FWS, you are still eligible to apply for one of the several hundred on-campus student jobs.

All work study positions are hourly and pay students on a monthly basis. Earned income does not apply directly toward your bill but are sent directly to your bank account. For more information, please email the Center for Career Development.
